This piece is located at the façade of EspaiKD. It takes three chairs from different periods. It is a reflexion of the art work of Kel Domènech, a tridimensional collage with old parts and modern parts that are joined in order to dilute the time pass by. It is a chair’s image where the elements are not necessarily located at its regular place in this kind of furniture, neither with its appropriate name. It has placed on the wall as it was the façade. It is not known if it is getting inside or outside, but in this process is been melt and it is poured through the wall. For this reason, the melting creates tears that at the same time allow you to see two squares in one side of the street and the other without moving the gaze from the piece. It is a reflexion about both, the artwork and the artist. They enter and get out continuously in order to go home and also to visit multitude of places.
The KD.015 is integrated in a specific project related with the Contemporary Art circuit of Besalú. A succession of integrated pieces in the facades of the city center. It thinks about the topic of the seats and the difficulty and weight of resting in a place with such an old and interesting history.
