A work that tries to reflect on the symmetry and the asymmetry, the usefulness and functionality of the objects that we invent. It applies the philosophy of the Kohn brothers (mid-nineteenth century) and their competitor Michael Thonet (1796-1871), inventor and world propagator of beech curved furniture. My intention is to decontextualized the feet of four original chairs Kohn nº 147 of the 1912 catalogue (reissued in 2006 by Julio Vives Chillida-1964) to turn them into support of a table. A symmetrical circular envelope that is born with a clear contradiction, its asymmetry of tonality, which is accentuated by the placement of randomly arranged stainless circles showing a punctual moment, a chat with friends, a game of chess .....
A piece with 8 equal feet arranged symmetrically, with 1 symmetrical circular envelope, with 1 lower ring perfectly symmetrical, with 6 symmetrical stainless circles, intended to be a tribute to the asymmetry.

Do you like one of my pieces? Is it already sold?
At EspaiKD we never repeat a sculpture; in fact we hand out a compromise document stating that we will not repeat a piece. However, I can create out of ideas, shapes or concepts o even out of words.
When Andy Warhol was working as a publicist, he used to asked them to give him a heading or a word and he would start up from there.
I need a first step from you so that the resulting piece ends up being slightly more yours.
We will create your piece!!:
