Art work based on the similarity of a couple of drawers that cannot be separated. Created from four drawers of a prototype from Pyrenees dated in 1770. It pretends to explain the evolution of this typology of furniture throughout the last three hundred years. In its design there are details incorporated from the neoclassicism, from the Art Deco, from the functionalism and other artistic movements. The handles are from the era of brass and they have been covered with silver by a metalsmith, following the same method in which Majorcan furniture of the 18th century it was used to be done. Textures in the skin like the escritoire from the beginning of the 20th century. It combines skin from different animals like ostriches, cows and bulls with stainless steel and a variety of finishing touches. Three centuries of History of this typology is being understood as an object of social and economic status that pretends to be a distinguishing element from the wealthy class. A book, a historic tale as an artistic object.
